CHASING RAINBOWS   Hear the music

Maybe it's just as well
that you're not here with me
I have no words for you now.
Maybe it's better if
I don't see you tonight.

Oh how I wish that I
knew what your thoughts were
I need to know how you feel.
Maybe tomorrow
I'll know how to ask.

I see clouds on the horizon.
I hope they don't come my way.

Maybe I 'm crazy or
have I been up to long?
Maybe I 'm crazy but
that glow in your eyes is gone.

Tell me you're tired or
tell me it's been a long day.
Say I' m mistaken oh,
tell me I worry too much.

I see clouds on the horizon.
I hope they don't come my way.

Are you the one I've been waiting for?
Are you the girl of my dreams?
Is this the love that I've read about?
            The "happy ever-after" kind?
Are you the one or have I been
            Chasing rainbows again?

Oh how I wish I was
in your arms right now...
I want to hold you
so bad.

Are you planning to leave me tomorrow
or are you going to stay?
Are you wondering how to tell me good-bye?

I see clouds on the horizon.
I hope they don't come my way.

They tried to warn me,
"Don't get your hopes up to high."
I had a feeling it would it would be different this time.
Something about you set you apart from the rest.
Tell me you need me too.
Tell me you want me to stay.

I see clouds on the horizon.
I hope they don' t come my way.

            I fear you're drifting away.
Baby please tell me I'm wrong.
Are you the one or have I been
            chasing rainbows again?
